What I Think About When I Think About Dancing is a contemporary interdisciplinary project running from 16 November 2009 – 3 January 2010 at Campbelltown Art Centre, that investigates the shifting boundaries and cross over of dance and visual art practices.
For the project, Campbelltown Arts Centre has brought together 23 dance and visual artists from across Australia and internationally to engage in residencies, performances, an exhibition and publication.

Del Kathryn Barton has been selected for this year's acquisitive prize. The Kedumba Drawing Award is the premier event for drawing in Australia and is now in its nineteenth year. The Kedumba Collection of Contemporary Australian Drawings is considered one of the most important collections of drawings of this period in the country.

The Kingpins in 'Video Swell Sydney' at The Art Gallery of New South Wales
The Kingpins have been included in 'Video Swell Sydney' at The Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.
Video Swell is a video art survey of four works by four artists. Each artist's work will be screened for just two weeks. A single and dual screening video program revealing the remarkable breadth and diversity of video art in Sydney with work by some of this city’s finest practitioners. Artists include; Shaun Gladwell, TV Moore, Kate Murphy and The Kingpins.
The Kingpins screening dates are 20 October - 1 November 2009.

Del Kathryn Barton and Tim McMonagle have been selected as finalists for The University of Queensland National Artists Self Portrait Prize 2009.
Following the success of the inaugural prize in 2007, the National Self Portrait Prize returns to the UQ Art Museum in 2009. Featuring a selection of invited artists working across media, this biennial exhibition focuses on a unique aspect of portraiture. The competition judged by Elizabeth Ann Macgregor, Director of Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney will be on view 27 November 2009 – 24 January 2010.
